Greetings, Saqarxkáj, and Bienvenidos to the renovated Maya Page! The more than 200 images on this site cover two thousand years of Maya civilization in the region encompassing southeast Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, and the western frontiers of Honduras and El Salvador.
These menus link to pages with images and commentary. Thumbnails in each topic page will open full-size photos. Because many of these terms are in native languages and may be new to you, you may click on any highlighted name to hear me pronunce it. If you wish to use a few images, make sure that you have my written permission, as these are my graphics. I have produced them from photography taken in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and the United States from 2003 to 2013.
This site was based on a crazy idea I had around November 2005. Its first appearance on the Web was April 2, 2007.
